Winter Bazaar – Update: No longer able to go ahead except Year 6

24 Nov Winter Bazaar – Update: No longer able to go ahead except Year 6

Due to the number of teachers now absent from school and also the closure of Year 5 for 2 weeks due to Covid, Coleridge Families in consultation with the school, have decided that the Bazaar can no longer take place for any year groups except Year 6. The reduction in staff numbers means that the school can no longer run any additional activities (such as bringing children to the Bazaar and helping wrap presents etc) and this means that no replacement “in class” activities can occur either.

Year 6’s Bazaar will be run by the Year 6 team in the Covid compliant manner set out in the CF risk assessment and instructions. Year 6 reps will be contacted separately on additional arrangements.

The school will be running their already planned schedule of Christmassy things including the Christmas parties.

Reps from classes who have already collected gifts can either agree to return them to the donors (in a Covid compliant manner); or they can be stored until next year; or they can be donated to The Hive for their Christmas Hampers (again in a Covid compliant manner). Any queries please contact us on coleridgefamilieseventreps@gmail.com.
